What are the payment options?

In order to enable guests to make online payments and hosts to receive online payouts, we've integrated Stripe Connect payment platform, provided by the Stripe company, to our website. 

Who is the Stripe company? What exactly is the Connect platform? 

Stripeis one of the world's leading online payment platform providersfor individuals and businesses. In order to be able to receive payments (from the guests) and redistribute them to third parties (the hosts), we have integrated their Connectmodule, which allows platforms such as ours to implement a secure payment infrastructure tailored to our needs.

What are the payment options available to guests? 

We currently accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express bank cards.
To pay for your booking, you'll be asked to go to the "My account" section, then, in "Payment preferences", fill out your credit/debit card details. Please enter your card number and expiry date, the name of the cardholder and the 3-digit CVC code. Then click on "Add bank card".   

What are the payout options available to hosts? 

We currently make payouts by bank transfer to your bank account.
To receive the income from your rentals, you'll be asked to go to the the "My account" section and, in "Payout preferences", fill out your bank account details. Please enter your IBAN, name, surname, account holder and all the information relating to your bank account (name, surname, date of birth and complete address as shown on your bank identity statement). You must then accept Stripe's terms and conditions and click on "Save". 

Security
 The information related to your payment card and bank details is captured directly by our partner, Stripe, and stored in the company's secure servers.
