Last-minute cancellations by hosts cause much more problems than last-minute cancellations by guests, and these require more effort to solve. In such situations, our teams have to respond urgently, and scramble to find alternative accommodation as fast as possible, either with our Sportihome hosts, or through other accommodation options (hotel, holiday rental, etc.).
That's why, to be able to offer our gueststhis "guarantee of accommodation", we have to recoup this specific service - among the other services we offer- on the guests' service fees.
