At Sportihome, we understand that unforeseen circumstances at the last minute might force you to cancel your stay.
If that happens, please let your host knowas soon as you can.
The amount of refund you'll receive will depend on the date of your cancellation and the cancellation conditions of the accommodation in question. A booking is officially cancelled when you click on the cancellation tab.
Note: Time limits for cancellation don't start until the moment you confirm your host's pre-approval.
- FLEXIBLE:
- I cancel my booking more than 24 hours beforethe time of arrival (local time) shown on the listing →We refund the total cost of your booking, excluding the service fees due to Sportihome.
- I cancel my bookingless than 24h before the time of arrival (local time) shown on the listing →You will not receive a refund.
- MODERATE:
- I cancel my booking more than 5 days before the time of arrival (local time) shown on the listing→ We refund the total cost of your booking, excluding the service fees due to Sportihome.
- I cancel my booking between 5 days and 24h beforethe time of arrival (local time) shown on the listing→We refund 50% of the total cost of your booking, excluding the service fees due to Sportihome.
- I cancel my booking less than 24h beforethe time of arrival (local time) shown on the listing→ You will not receive a refund.
- STRICT(with leniency period):
- I cancel my booking more than 7 days beforethe time of arrival (local time) shown on the listing→ We refund 50% of the total cost of your booking, excluding the service fees due to Sportihome.
NOTE:If the booking is confirmed more than 14 days before the time of arrival (local time) shown on the listing, we grant you a period of leniency. You'll therefore have a period of 48h maximum to change your mind and receive a full refund of the total cost of your booking. - I cancel my booking less than 7 days beforethe time of arrival (local time) shown on the listing → You will not receive a refund.
- VERY STRICT:
- I cancel my booking more than 60 days beforethe time of arrival (local time) shown on the listing → We refund 50% of the total cost of your booking, excluding the service fees due to Sportihome.
- I cancel my booking less than 60 days beforethe time of arrival (local time) shown on the listing → You will not receive a refund.
In all cases, if you have to cancel, we beg you to let your host know by sending them a message explaining your situation, so as to preserve the sense of trust so essential to our community.
NOTE 1: If a refund is due, it can take up to 7 days to show up in your bank account.
NOTE 2: In the event of a cancellation where we refund 50% of the total amount of your reservation, except for the service fees due to Sportihome, upon payment in 2x without charge, if the cancellation occurs before the 2nd payment, the balance of the service charge due to Sportihome will be automatically charged to your credit card at the time of cancellation.
